How to choose a Microsoft 365 consultant

Questions worth asking before you hire a Microsoft 365 consultant, including what remote delivery from an Atlanta team can and cannot cover.

A search for “Microsoft 365 consulting near me” often lands on a page that names your state and says very little else. The location matters less than whether the consultant has done the migration you actually need.

Questions that sort a real engagement from a template

  • Where does mail live today, and what is the cutover plan?
  • Who owns licenses after the project, and which ones can be removed?
  • Is SharePoint being designed, or are files just being copied into a library?
  • Which security settings will be turned on in the first month, and which ones wait?
  • If you need a Power App or a custom connector, is that the same team?

Remote is fine. A pretend local office is not.

White Leaf’s U.S. office is in Atlanta. We also work with teams outside Georgia. Microsoft 365 administration is remote work: the tenant is in Microsoft’s cloud, and the workshops can be on Teams. What we will not do is imply a staffed office in Tacoma or Arizona just because someone searched from there.

If you want the scope in one place, start with our Microsoft 365 services or send a note with the size of the tenant and where mail lives today.
